Cymax Group Announces Appointments to the Leadership Team

Cymax Group is pleased to announce two foundational additions to its senior leadership team.

George Chang has joined Cymax Group Technologies as Senior Vice President, GM, of eCommerce, while Nicolas Chen has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.

As the eCommerce technology and logistics services platform nears 20 years in business, the addition of George and promotion of Nic are reflective of a continued focus on exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.

George brings over a decade of expertise in eCommerce with experience in Marketplaces, Business Strategy, Channel Operations, and SaaS offerings. He has spearheaded successful initiatives in the technology community, driving innovation and efficiencies. George comes to Cymax Group from Spreetail where he was Chief Channels and Digital Officer. Prior to that, George was the EVP of Client Success at VTEX Commerce Cloud, Head of Sales at Mirakl, the CEO for Bedsure Design North America and SVP of eCommerce at Rakuten.com/ Buy.com.

As SVP, GM of eCommerce, George oversees Marketplaces, Merchandising, Partner Programs, Vendor Account Management, and eCommerce Marketing.

Nic’s focus on customer experience has been consistent throughout his career. He brings over a decade of experience in leadership roles with substantial expertise in contact centre experience, process improvement, and operations strategy. Nic was previously Director of Contact Centre at NewAge Products where he led an award-winning team and built several departments from the ground up. Most recently, Nic was Director of Contact Centre at Cymax Group before being promoted to VP of Operations.

Nic’s expanded portfolio includes Customer Service, eCommerce Channel Operations, Freight Club Operations and Continuous Improvement at Cymax Group.
